The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team returned to Wildcat Gym on Tuesday evening and defeated Harker heights by a score of 42-28.

The Tem-Cats took a tight 10-9 lead going to the second quarter, but sparked by Emma Flores 7 points in the quarter, Temple took a 23-14 lead into the halftime break. Ava Anderson had a big second half scoring 7 of her team high 11 points.

The Tem-Cats were led by Ava Anderson with 11 points and Alearia Westbrook with 9 points.

Also for the Tem-Cats, Emma Flores with 7 points, Jazale Mose 5 points, Imani Woodson 4 points and with 2 points each were Cykhiah White and Alanah Johnson.

Temple (8-2) will return to action on January 31st when they will host Killeen at Wildcat Gym beginning at 5:00.
