WELCOME TO ATHLETICS
Welcome to Temple ISD Athletics! It is an honor
to hold the position of Director of Athletics for our many student-athletes and
coaches in the Temple Independent School District. I am excited to welcome
you to an atmosphere that cultivates academic and athletic excellence. TISD
athletics has a history rich in traditions and successes, both on and off the
field. Athletics changed my life and I know the impact it can have on our
student-athletes. I am incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead and
serve you.
In TISD, our athletic administration, staff
and coaches are committed to instilling core values of discipline, integrity
and sportsmanship in our student athletes while competing to their maximum
potential. We believe athletics is an extension of the classroom and is a
fundamental key to success in life beyond school. The athletic
department's sole purpose is to provide opportunities that will equip our
student-athletes to achieve personal growth through academics and athletic
competition.
Our success
in this mission will continue to make our community the great place it is today
and better for those in the future. Without the community's great support, we
