The Temple boys freshman blue basketball team returned to district play on Friday afternoon with a 77-67 victory over Harker Heights at Wildcat Gym.

Temple got 6 points apiece in the first quarter from Brycen Thomas and Bradyn Williams as the Wildcats built a 20-14 lead.

Aiden Hamilton had 4 second quarter points as Temple extended their lead to 33- 26 by halftime.

A 28 point third quarter continued the strong play by the Wildcats as Tristan Reaves chipped in 7 points and Bryson Williams and Bradyn Williams each had 6.

In the fourth, Temple survived a barrage of 3-pointers from the Knights bur held on for the comfortable win.

Brycen Thomas and Bradyn Williams led the Wildcats with 19 points apiece while Tristan Reaves had 12 points.

Also for Temple, Landon Walker 9 points, Bryson Williams 8 points, D'Andre Green had 6 points and with 4 points apiece were Aiden Hamilton and Alvin Lawrence.

Temple will return to to play on January 7th when they will host Killeen beginning at 5:00 pm.
