COPPERAS COVE - The Temple Wildcat basketball team opened District 12-6A play on Tuesday with a 51-42 victory on the road at Copperas Cove.
The Wildcats were led by Houston Martin with 20 points and 5 assist while DJ Nelson had 10 points, 5 steals and Jamarion Carlton with 10 points and 9 rebounds.
Temple returns to play on Friday with a matchup with Midway on the road beginning at 4:00 pm.
