The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team rallied from a 16-11 halftime deficit to defeat Copperas Cove by a score of 40-35 at Wildcat Gym on Tuesday evening.

Temple cut the lead to 26-24 in the third as Cykhiah White tallied 5 points in the quarter. In the fourth, Ava Anderson 7 points and Imanai Woodson 5 points sparked Temple past the Lady Bulldawgs.

Temple was led by Imani Woodson with 14 points while Ava Anderson had 9 points.

Also for Temple, Cykhiah White with 6 points, Jazale Mose 5 points, Emma Flores 4 points and Aalina Lopez 2 points.

Temple will return to play on Friday when they will host Midway at Wildcat Gym beginning at 2:00 pm.
