The Wildcats followed that with a little taste of Down Under to start this week.
Temple welcomed St. Joseph’s — a Catholic school from New South Wales, Australia — to Wildcat Gym on Tuesday, though the pleasantries surrounding the non-district tilt were interrupted by a methodical Wildcats effort in between the whistles, which amounted to a 75-33 rout that marked the their fifth win in their last six games.
Temple (8-4) jumped ahead from the opening tip, which Jamarion Carlton tapped to DJ Nelson, who promptly found a cutting Ramauhn Brown for an uncontested layup from the right side with 3 seconds elapsed.
It was a sign of things to come.
