BURNET - The Temple boys freshman white basketball team completed a successful weekend on Saturday with a 2nd Place finish in the freshman division of the Burnet Tournament.

The Wildcat fell to Gatesville by a score of 53-46 to finish out tournament play with a record of 3-1.

In the championship game, Darius Love Brown led Temple with 12 points while Leelon Harris and Aiden Hamilton each had 8 points.

Temple also saw Jaylen McNeil with 6 points, Cody Harris and Jayden Razo with 3 points and with 2 points each were Tristan Moore and Marcus Davis.

The Wildcats reached the title game by defeating Marble Falls by a score of 55-16.

Temple was led by Jayden Merideth with 10 points while Aiden Hamilton had 8 points.

Also for Temple, Dario with 6 points, Jaylen McNeil , 3, Leelon Harris and Cody Harris with 5 points, Jayden Razo with 3 points and with 2 points was Darius Love Brown, Dario and Ben Russell.

Temple will return to action on Tuesday when they will host a traveling team from Australia beginning at 6:15.
