SALADO - The Tem-Cat basketball team closed out play in the Salado Tournament on Saturday with a 41-34 loss to Gunter.

The Tem-Cat were led by Dawn Smith with a team high 16 points with 6 rebounds and 3 steals.

Also for Temple with 5 points each were Jayla Govan and Paris Morris 6 rebounds while with 4 points each were Tierney Perkins, 3 assist, 3 steals and Dejah Thomas 8 rebounds3 blocks, 2 steals.

Temple will return to play on Tuesday, December 10th when they will travel to Bryan to take on the Lady Vikings at 7:00 pm to open 12-6A play.
