BURNET - The Temple boys freshman blue basketball team had a strong start to the Burnet Tournament as they had a pair of dominating wins playing in the junior varsity division on Thursday.

Temple opened the day with a 83-28 victory over Dominic Savio.

Bryson Williams led Temple with 18 points while Tristan Reaves had 15 points, D'Andre Green with 10 points, Landon Walker with 9 points, Brycen Thomas and Braylin Williams with 7 points, Brody Baxter with 4 points, Gunnar Westbrook with 3 points and Alvin Lawrence with 2 points.

In game 2, Temple defeated Lago Vista by a score of 72-34. No information was submitted.

Temple will return to action on Saturday as they teams will be seeded to compete in bracket play.
