The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team remain unbeaten following a 49-35 victory over Lake Belton High on Tuesday evening at Broncho Gym.

Alearia Westbrook and Cykharia White sparked the Tem-Cats with 8 first half points each as the Tem-Cats built a 24-9 lead by halftime. After building as much as a 41-19 lead in the third, the Lady Bronchos chipped the final margin too 49-35.

Westbrook led all Temple scorers on the night with 14 points while Cykharia White posted 10 points.

Also making the scoring column for the Tem-Cats were Aniya Wilson 8 points, Emmy Flores 5 points, Ava Anderson 4 points and with 2 points was Talynn Brown.

Temple (9-0) will return to action on Thursday when they will begin play in the Belton ISD Tournament this weekend.
