The Temple boys freshman blue basketball team returned home on Tuesday as they hosted Del Valle at Wildcat Gym. The Wildcats used a strong 39-15 first half performance to pull away early and defeat the Cardinals by a score of 71-28.

Gunnar Westbrook, 8 points and Landon Walker 6 points helped the Wildcats build an early 17-3 lead in the first quarter while Braylin Williams tallied 8 points in the second quarter.

Gunnar Westbrook and Landon Walker led Temple with 16 points each on the night while D'Andre Green had 12 points.

Also for the Wildcats, Braylin Williams had 9 points, Elijah Hackworth and Tristan Reaves 6 points, Brycen Thomas 4 points, Alvin Lawrence, Brody Baxter 2 points and with 1 point was Bryson Williams.

Temple returns to action on Thursday when they will take part in the Burney Tournament.
