BELTON - The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team remain unbeaten following a 49-30 victory over Belton High on Friday evening at Tiger Gym.
Alearia Westbrook sparked the Tem-Cats with 10 first quarter points as the Tem-Cats dominated the Lady Tigers 24-3 in the first 8 minutes of play.
Westbrook led all Temple scorers on the night with 16 points while Emmy Flores and Ava Anderson each scored 6 points.
Also making the scoring column for the Tem-Cats were Jazale Mose and Meghan Jackson 4 points, Alanah Johnson 3 points and with 2 points, Aniya Wilson and Komoriah Fillmore.
Temple (8-0) will return to action on Tuesday with a road game at Bryan Rudder beginning at 11:00 am.
