KILLEEN - The Temple freshman white team won the Killeen Shoemaker B Team Tournament on Saturday by going 2-1 in the two day tournament.

Temple defeated Killeen Chaparral by a score of 40-32 to open the tournament, but fell to Harker Heights 52-48 in their second round game.

Temple then matched up with Killeen Shoemaker and defeated the host Greywolves 50-42 to claim the tournament title.

Temple will return to action on Tuesday with a home game against Pflugerville Connally beginning at 6:15.
