The Temple Wildcat varsity basketball came into Tuesday nights season opener short handed with as many as nine players not suited up due to their continued participation in the UIL State football playoffs. Temple fell to a very good visiting Liberty Hill Panthers team by a score of 77-37 at Wildcat Gym.
Suiting up only seven players, Brendan Watters led the Wildcats with five 3-pointers and 15 total points while Jayden Watkins tallied 10 points.
Also for the Wildcats, Terrell House had 4 points, Sammy Smith, J'Caleb Martin 2 points and Devonte McClennon 1 point.
Temple will return to action on November 19 when they will host Pflugerville Connally at Wildcat Gym beginning at 7:00 pm.
