AUSTIN - The Tem-Cat freshman basketball teams won a pair of games on Friday and advanced to the semifinals of the Austin McCallum Tournament.
In their opener, Temple defeated Marble Falls by a score of 34-20.
The Tem-Cats were led by Alearia Westbrook with 14 points and Aniyah Wilson with 10 points.
Also for the Tem-Cats, Jazale Mose had 4 points and with 2 points each were Ava Anderson and Faith Bryant.
In the second game, Temple defeated Legacy Ranch by a score of 36-18.
Temple was led by Alearia Westbrook who tallied a team high 12 points while Ava Anderson had 6 points, Jazale Mose, Aniyah Wilson and Cykharia White each with 4 points and Faith Bryant with 2 points.
Temple (3-0) will return to action on Saturday with a 11:00 am game in the semifinal round of the McCallum Tournament.
