TAYLOR - The Tem-Cat freshman volleyball team dropped their first match of the season as they fell to Taylor 11-25, 26-24, 15-11 on Tuesday evening.

The Tem-Cats coasted to a 25-11 win in the first set nut was narrowly edged out in the second set 26-24. In the third set, Temple fell into an early hole and came up short in catching the Lady Ducks 15-11.

Isabella Alcoser had a strong match for Temple as she dished out 11 assist while also recording 2 digs, 1 kill, 1 ace and 1 block. Emory Corley had a team high 6 kills while also posting an ace. Cykhiah White recorded 5 kills while Bryelle Lewis had 4 aces, 4 kills and one dig.

Temple will return to action on Friday with three games in the Copperas Cove Tournament followed by three more games on Saturday.
