TEMPLE, TX — The Temple High School Wildcat Tennis Team launched their fall campaign in dominant fashion, sweeping their opening matches against Waco High and Pflugerville High School to build early-season momentum.

The Wildcats opened the fall season on Tuesday against Waco High, using sharp coordination to seize a 5-2 lead coming out of doubles play. Carrying that energy into singles, Temple claimed 6 of the 10 contested matches to lock in an 11-8 team victory.

Refusing to slow down, the squad returned to the courts on Thursday to face Pflugerville High School. In a striking replay of Tuesday's start, strong team chemistry propelled the Wildcats to another 5-2 lead after doubles. The team then shut the door in singles play, capturing 7 matches to seal a convincing 12-7 overall triumph.
