TEMPLE, TX — Due to current weather conditions and in the interest of safety for our students and staff, Temple Independent School District will be closed on Tuesday, January 27, 2026.

As a result of this closure, all District 12-6A basketball and soccer games originally scheduled for Tuesday have been postponed to Wednesday, January 28, 2026. Please note that all game sites and start times will remain as originally scheduled.

The updated athletic schedule for Wednesday, January 28, is as follows:

Wildcat Basketball (Away at Copperas Cove):
Freshman: 5:00 PM / 6:15 PM
JV: 5:30 PM
Varsity: 7:00 PM

Tem-Cat Basketball (Home vs. Copperas Cove):
Freshman: 5:00 PM
JV: 5:30 PM
Varsity: 7:00 PM

Soccer

Wildcat Soccer (Home vs. Midway):
JV White: 4:30 PM
JV Blue: 5:45 PM
Varsity: 7:30 PM

Tem-Cat Soccer (Away at Hewitt vs. Midway):
JV: 5:00 PM
Varsity: 7:00 PM
