TEMPLE, Texas – The Temple Wildcat junior varsity basketball team put on a clinic Tuesday evening, delivering a commanding performance at home to defeat the Bryan Vikings, 72-32. From the opening tip to the final buzzer, Temple’s balanced scoring and suffocating defense proved too much for the visitors to handle.

A Strong Foundation

Temple set the tone early, jumping out to an 18-8 lead in the first quarter. The Wildcats continued to build momentum through the second frame, heading into the locker room with a comfortable 35-17 advantage.

The Wildcats' defensive pressure was relentless, holding Bryan to single digits in every single quarter of the contest.

Explosive Third Quarter

The game broke wide open in the third period as Temple outscored Bryan 22-7. The duo of Braylin Carr and Landon Walker fueled the surge, accounting for 14 of the team's 22 points in the quarter. Both players showcased their range, each knocking down a three-pointer during the run to effectively put the game out of reach.

Balanced Attack
The Wildcats' victory was a true team effort, with ten different players finding the bottom of the net. Braylin Carr led all scorers with 13 points, followed closely by Lealon Harris with 11 and Landon Walker with 10.
