Temple has kept all but one of its district games close as it has progressed through the early portion of the first loop of league play while still searching for its first 12-6A win. That didn’t change Friday night in their first home game since mid-December.

The Tem-Cats stayed on Harker Heights’ heels for the duration, nearly erasing a 16-point deficit late in the third quarter to climb back and make the Lady Knights sweat it out at the end, though the visitors did enough to hold on for a 47-42 victory at Wildcat Gymnasium.
