The Temple Wildcat Freshman Blue Boys basketball team defeated Belton on Friday night by a score of 63-55 at Wildcat Gym.

The Wildcats built an early 21-2 lead over the Tigers with the early outburst being too much for the Tigers to overcome.

The Wildcats were led by Kaiden Brown with 17 points and Drew Brischke with 11 points.

Also for the Wildcats, Elijah Ontiveros with 8 points, Jo'Shon Jackson 7 points, Jeromantay Jackson 4 points, Zephaniah Gibson 3 points and Mack Hine 2 points.

Temple will return to action on January 3rd when they will host Copperas Cove at 11:30 am.
