The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team opened District 12-6A play on Tuesday evening with a 46-27 victory over Bryan High School at Wildcat Gym.

The Tem-Cats were led by Kyleigh Juarez and Hayden Williams with 10 points apiece while Sha'Kyhria Freeman had 7 points and Catherine Dunklin with 6 points.

Also for the Tem-Cats, Ma'Kayla Pendleton and Deonnie Jones with 4 points, Saniya Brunson 3 points and with 2 points was Bailey Culbreath.
