WACO - The Temple Tem-Cat junior varsity basketball team claimed 2nd Place in this weeks Waco High Tournament as they fell to Lake Belton 44-24 in the Championship game and went 2-1 in the tournament.

The Tem-Cats were led by Eowyn Bristol who tallied a team high 8 points.

Also for the Tem-Cats, Ava Anderson had 5 points, Cykhiah White with 4 points, Azul Ceja 3 points, Jazale Mose 2 points and with 1 point each were Emmy Flores and Alaina Lopez.

Temple returns to action on Tuesday as they will host Bryan in the District 12-6A opener. Tipoff at Wildcat Gym is set for 5:30 pm.
