ALEDO - The Temple Tem-Cat basketball team went 2-2 in this past weekends Aledo Ladycat Invitational.
The Tem-Cats fell to Everman in their opening game by a score of 43-33. Avery Perez led Temple with a team high 12 points while Alanah Johnson had 8 points.
Game 2 saw the Tem-Cats slip past Snyder by a score of 46-45. Avery Perez led the Tem-Cats with 15 points while Aniyah Brumet had 12 points and Tierney Perkins with 6 points.
In their third game, Temple rallied from an 18 point deficit to defeat Prestonwood Academy by a score of 36-33. Again it was Avery Perez leading the way with 14 points while Aniyah Brumet posted 9 points and Kendall Tate with 5 points.
The final game of the tournament saw the Tem-Cats fall to Houston Christian by a score of 86-32. Mariah Dixon led Temple with 8 points while Avery Perez posted 7 points and Jam'Marea Wilson with 4 points.
Temple returns to action on December 9th when they will host Waco High at 6:30 pm.
