Temple girls basketball head coach Azzie Knox wants her team to push the pace but be smart about it at the same time. The Tem-Cats picked their spot Tuesday and rode the momentum to a landslide victory.
Temple pulled away in the latter half of the third quarter, using an aggressive mindset on offense that filtered to its defense as it turned a close game against Bryan Rudder into a 49-29 triumph in a non-district affair at Wildcat Gym.
Maciah Morgan and Avery Perez netted 10 points apiece to pace the Tem-Cats to their fifth win in their last six games, including two in a row to head into the holiday after they blitzed Pflugerville Connally 67-24 in a road contest Monday.
