PFLUGERVILLE - The Tem-Cat junior varsity basketball team used a balanced effort with 14 players in the scoring column to defeat Pflugerville Connally by a score of 70-11 on Monday afternoon.
The Tem-Cats dominated the first half with a 31 point second quarter to build a 49-9 lead by halftime and coast their way in the second half.
Temple was led by Azul Ceja who posted a team high 11 points while Ava Anderson and Elysia Cortez each tallied 10 points.
Also for Temple, Meghan Jackson with 8 points, Cykhiah White with 6 points; Aniya Wilson and Kimorah Fillmore each with 5 points. Aliyah Peoples and Alaina Lopez 4 points; with 2 points each were Emmy Flores, Laniah Caldwell Davis, Azaria Ellison, Eowyn Bristol and with one points was Jazale Mose.
Temple 6-1 will return to action on November 25th when they will host Bryan Rudder beginning at 11:00 am.
