PFLUGERVILLE - The Temple Tem-Cat basketball team were is a tight first quarter battle with Pflugerville on Friday evening trailing 13-10. However, a 23-4 run by the Lady Panthers led to a 67-31 Pflugerville win over the Tem-Cats.
Tierney Perkins led Temple with 10 points while also recording 4 steals and 4 assist.
Kendall Tate tallied 7 points and pulled down 4 rebounds. Avery Perez led the Tem-Cats in rebounds with 8 while also having 3 points, 4 steals and 2 assist.
Also for the Tem-Cats, Jessie Johnson 5 points, 4 rebounds, 3 blocks; Aniyah Brumet 2 points, 3 steals; Maciah Morgan 4 points, 4 rebounds; Jazaeah Canady 5 rebounds, steal and Alanah Johnson 6 rebounds, steal and a block.
Temple (3-5) returns to action on Monday with a 12:30 matchup on the road with Pflugerville Connally.
