Holleman sets school record in long jump as Tem-Cats take 2nd at Belinda Denman Invitational

WACO - The Tem-Cat varsity track & field team competed in talent laden the Belinda Denman Invitational at the Hart-Patterson Track Complex on Friday.

The Tem-Cats took 2nd Place in the team standing with a total of 113 points while Lancaster took 1st Place with 228 points.

The Tem-Cats had top performance came from Kaurie Holleman who set a new school record in the long jump with a leap of 20'1 1/2 to take 1st Place in the event. Holleman would also take bronze in the 200 and 400 meter individual races and silver in the 4x200 and 4x400 relays.

Temple had others strong performances as they took silver in the 4x100 and 4x200 relays; Analisa Terry (2400) and Dejah Thomas in the triple jump.
