HEWITT - The Tem-Cat Volleyball team had a sluggish start in Tuesday's matchup with a very good Midway team and ended up falling to the Pantherettes by a score of 25-9, 25-12, 25-18.
Dawn Smith had a team high 7 kills for the Tem-Cats while Kendall Tate dished out a team high 7 assist along with 4 kills, 10 digs and one ace.
Also for the Tem-Cats, Kylie Rayas had 6 assist, 6 digs, ace; Taylor Regula 7 digs, kill; Dejah Thomas 4 kill, dig, block; Keagan Bankston 4 digs, Madison Sapp 2 digs.
Temple 14-18 overall and 0-2 in district play returns to play on Friday when they will host Harker Heights at 6:00 pm.
