TEMPLE, Texas — The Temple Athletic Department celebrated a major milestone on Wednesday afternoon as eight standout seniors officially announced their commitments to play at the collegiate level. The ceremony, held at the Wildcat Gym, saw family, coaches, and teammates gather to honor the athletes as they signed their National Letters of Intent.
The football program saw a significant wave of talent moving on to the next level, with six Wildcats securing spots on college rosters. Brion Williams is headed to Blinn College, while Champ Mayo will take his talents to Northeastern New Mexico. Ramauhn Brown signed to play for Midwestern State University, and Cavalli Nealy joined the ranks of Tyler Junior College. In a notable pairing, both Isaiah Guerra and Q’Terrius White will remain teammates as they head to Kilgore College together.
Beyond the gridiron, Temple’s track and basketball programs also celebrated key departures. Kaurie Holleman signed with Texas State University to join their Women's Track program, while Jessie Johnson announced her commitment to play basketball for Neosho Community College.
As these eight seniors prepare to wrap up their final semester at Temple High School, the community wishes them the best of luck in their upcoming collegiate careers. Represent Temple well!
