After the loss in the third set, the Tem-Cats came out firing in the fourth set, building a large lead on several timely attacks and faulty Lady Dawg attacks.
In quick fashion, the Tem-Cats had built a commanding 11-2 lead in the set, off of kills by Gabi Barbosa, an ace by Kylie Rayas and a block by Jaidyn Henry and Aubrey Baker, among the Lady Dawg errors.
But the Lady Dawgs would not go quietly into the night, with prolific attacker Kaitlyn Urquidez capturing back-to-back points for her team with a kill and a block. That sparked four consecutive points to get the Lady Dawgs to within 11-6.
A service error by Copperas Cove gave the Tem-Cats the serve back and a point, but Bre Buckram scored a kill to get it back for the Lady Dawgs.
Emory Corley and Kylie Dixon scored kills on consecutive points to get the lead back to 14-7.
