HARKER HEIGHTS - The Tem-Cat volleyball team earned a crucial 12-6A victory on the road at Harker Heights on Friday evening. Temple came away with a 3-set victory of 25-19, 25-23, 25-20 over the Lady Knights.
Kendall Tate helped pace the Tem-Cats as she recorded 8 kills, 14 assist, 8 digs and 2 block assist.
However, also powering the Tem-Cats to the win were Gabi Barbosa with 8 kills, 4 digs, 2 aces; Kylie Rayas with a team high 30 digs and 5 assist; Kylie Dixon 9 kills, 10 digs; Willow Pratt 7 kills, 5 digs, 12 assist.
Also for Temple, Madison Sapp 5 digs; Aubrey Baker 3 kills and 3 blocks assist.
Temple improve to 1-2 in 12-6a play and will return to action on Tuesday with a road match at Killeen beginning at 6:00.
