HARKER HEIGHTS - The Tem-Cat freshman basketball team returned from their holiday break with a road victory over Harker Heights on Friday by a score of 39-23

After trailing 7-4 after one quarter, the Tem-Cats were able to carry a slim 15-13 lead into halftime. In the tird quarter, Temple got 7 points from Emma Flores as they extended their lead to 30-20 going to the fourth. And in the fourth, Aniyah Wilson sealed the victory going 4-4 at the free throw line with 6 points total.

Temple was led by Emma Flores with a team high 10 points.

Also for Temple, Alanah Johnson and Aniyah Wilson with 6 points, Cykhiah White 5 points, Jazale Mose 4 points, Alearia Westbrook, Alaina Lopez 2 points and with 1 point was Komariah Fillmore.

January 7th when they will travel to Killeen to take on the Lady Roos at 5:00 pm.
