The Temple boys freshman blue basketball team returned to Wildcat Gym on Tuesday to host St. Josephs from Australia. The Wildcat used a big 21 point first quarter outburst to roll past the Joey's by a score of 56-31.
Elijah Hackworth sparked the Wildcat sin the first with 6 points as Temple built an early 21-11 lead. Although the pace slowed down in the second quarter. Temple extended their lead to 28-15 by halftime.
Temple was led by b Elijah Hackworth with 13 points and Landon Walker with 12 points.
Also for Temple, Brycen Thomas had 10 points, Braydyn Williams 8 points, Bryson Williams 6 points, Gunnar Westbrook 4 points, D'Andre Green 2 points, and Brody Baxter 1 point.
Temple will return to action on Thursday when they will participate in the Midway Tournament in Hewitt.
