WACO– The Temple junior varsity boys cross country team competed in the District 12-6A Championships on Thursday morning at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
The Wildcats took 2nd Place in the team standings with 39 points while Midway was the team champion with 33 points.
The Wildcats were paced by a trio of Top 10 finishers led by Titus Tamez who finished in 2nd Place with a time of 18:46 in the 5000 meter race while Xavier Wilson was 3rd Place in a time of 19:03. Jonathan Suarez was 6th overall with a time of 19:19.
Temple placed 3 more runners in the Top 16 with Conner Miller finishing 13th (20:07) Cristhian Aquino-Cervantes 16th (20:15) and Cristobal Hernandez 16th (20:29).
