Tem-Cats take 4th Place at the Pro-Fit Last Chance Invitational

BELTON– The Temple varsity girls cross country team competed in the Po-Fit Last Chance Invitational held at Heritage Park in Belton on Thursday.

The Tem-Cats took 4th Place in the teams standings with 112 points while Round Rock McNeil won the team title with 77 points.

The Tem-Cats were led by a trio of Top 15 finishers in Analisa Terry, Maya Ramirez and Kaurie Holleman.

Analisa Terry was 8th overall in a time of 20:01, Maya Ramirez 12th (20:15) and Kaurie Holleman 15th in a time of 20:35.

Also running for the Tem-Cats in the 3 mile course was:

Sterling Griffith 33rd (21:41)
Ilana Desales - 50th (22:18)
Jaylynn Pearson - 53rd (22:22)
Jamie Castillo - 68th (22:35)

Temple returns to competition on October 10 as they will run in the District 12-6A Championships held at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
