BELTON– The Temple junior varsity girls cross country team competed in the Po-Fit Last Chance Invitational held at Heritage Park in Belton on Thursday.
The Tem-Cats took 6th Place in the teams standings with 147 points while Vista Ridge won the team title with 60 points.
The Tem-Cats were led by Maliah Neal and Kylee Dupar with Top 5 finishes in the field of 137 runners. Neal took 2nd Place in running the 3 mile course in a time of 22:48 while Dupar was 5th in a time of 22:58.

Temple returns to competition on October 10 as they will run in the District 12-6A Championships held at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
