Suarez, Wilson take Top 10 spots at Broncho Invitational

TEMPLE – The Temple junior varsity boys cross country team competed in the Broncho Invitational held at Crossroads Park on Thursday.

The Wildcats took 5th Place in the teams standings with 138 points while Westwood won the team title with 84 points.

The Wildcats were led by a pair of Top 10 runners as Jonathan Suarez Castillo took 5th place and Xavier Wilson finished in 9th. Jonathan ran the 3000 meter course in a time of 19:36 while Xavier finished in 19:54.

Also running for the Wildcats in the 3000 meter course was:

Temple returns to competition on September 28 as they will run in the Georgetown/ East View Invitational at East View H.S.
