SUAREZ-CASTILLO HAS TOP 8 FINISH TO LEAD JV CROSS COUNTRY AT MIDWAY

Suarez-Castillo has Top 8 finish to lead JV cross country at Midway

WACO– The Temple junior varsity boys cross country team competed in the Hewitt Midway Kiwanis Invitational held at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco on Thursday.

The Wildcats took 5th Place in the teams standings with 139 points while College Station won the team title with 23 points.

Temple was led by Jonathan Suarez-Castillo who took 7th place overall in the individual standings as Jonathan ran the 3 mile course in a time of 18:12.

Also running for the Wildcats in the 3 mile course was:

Temple returns to competition on September 12 as they will run in the Salado Invitational at Tenroc Park.
