WACO– The Temple junior varsity girls cross country team competed in the Hewitt Midway Kiwanis Invitational held at the HOT Soccer Complex in Waco on Thursday.
The Tem-Cats took 5th Place in the teams standings with 124 points while College Station won the team title with 19 points.
Temple was led by a trio of top 10 runners in the 21st through 23rd places. Patience Savage finished in 21st Place with a time of 24.48.40 while Maliah Neal was 22nd (24.48.90) and Kylee Dupar 23rd (24.49)

Temple returns to competition on September 12 as they will run in the Salado Invitational at Tenroc Park.
