WACO - The Temple junior varsity girls cross team competed in the District 12-6A championships on Thursday morning at HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
The Tem-Cats finished in 2nd Place in the team standings with 57 points while Midway took the team title with 20 points.
The Tem-Cats had a strong finish to their season as five runners placed in the Top 20.
The Tem-Cats were led by a pair of Top 10 runners with Samara Smith taking 4th Place overall and Desiree Tools taking 10th Place. Smith ran the 3 mile course in 22:43 while Tools finished in 23:58.
