WACO - The Temple varsity boys cross team competed in the District 12-6A championships on Thursday morning at HOT Soccer Complex in Waco.
The Wildcats finished in 2nd Place in the team standings with 55 points while Harker Heights took the team title with 38 points.
The Wildcats had a trio of Top 10 finishers with Xavier Tools taking 4th Place overall while Adan Hernandez was 8th and Dominick Montalbo placed 9th.
Tools completed the 3 mile course in a time of 16:23 with Hernandez finishing in 16:53 .11 and Montalbo in 16:53.68

The Wildcats now advance to the Regional Championship which will be held in Arlington on October 20 in an attempt to qualify for the State Meet.
