The Temple varsity boys cross team competed in the Broncho Invitational at Crossroads Park in Thursday.
Temple took 4th Place overall in the team standings with 107 points while Harker Heights was the team champion with 56 points.
The Wildcats had a pair of runners place in the Top 10 with senior Xavier Tools and Dominick Montalbo. Tools took the gold medal in basically a photo finish as he ran the 500 meter course in a time of 16:15.1 while Blake Zimmerman of Harker Heights took silver with a 16:15.6.
Dominick Montalbo also had a strong race as he took fourth place with a time of 16:53.
