The Temple Tem-Cat varsity girls cross team opened their season on Friday morning at Lions Park as they hosted the Temple Invitational.
In a successful start to the season as Temple took 2nd Place in the team standings with four runners placing in the top 12 spots.
Maya Ramirez and Analisa Terry led the squad placing 5th and 6th respectively with Ramirez finishing the 3 mile course in 2018 and Terry right behind in 20:22.
Also shining brightly for the Tem-Cats were Azaria Staples placed 11th in a time of 21:16 and Alana Bailey, 12th in a time of 21:22.

Rounding out the Tem-Cat runners were Sterling Griffith 38th (22:44) and Ilana Desales 40th (22:56).
