COPPERAS COVE - The Wildcat varsity track & field team competed in the District 12-6A track & field championships on Wednesday and and Thursday at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove.
The Wildcats took 6th Place in the team standing while Killeen Shoemaker took 1st Place.
The Wildcats were led by O'Ryan Peoples who earned a silver medal in the long jump.
Temple will advance the 4x100 and 4x400 relays to the area meet while Xavier Tools (800 meters) and O'Ryan Peoples (long jump ) will compete individually.
Temple was also successful in earning 4 silver medals and seven bronze medals.
All the Wildcat relays also medaled in the meet to show a strong showing.
