COPPERAS COVE - The Tem-Cat junior varsity track & field team competed in the District 12-6A track & field championships on Wednesday and and Thursday at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove.
The Tem-Cats took 2nd Place in the team standing with a total of 121 points while Midway took 1st Place with 151 points.
The Tem-Cats earned a five gold medals on the day. They included Aaliyah Abddeen (shot put), Ilana Desales (800), Kyera Banks (200), Deyauna Milton (triple jump and the 4x200 relay.
Temple was also successful in earning four silver medals and one bronze medals.
