COPPERAS COVE - The Wildcat junior varsity track & field team competed in the District 12-6A track & field championships on Wednesday and and Thursday at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove.
The Wildcats took 2nd Place in the team standing with a total of 142 points while Killeen Shoemaker took 1st Place with 155.5 points.
The Wildcats earned a pair of gold medals, Isaiah Guerra first in the shot put and Braylin Carr first in the high jump.
Temple was also successful in earning 4 silver medals and seven bronze medals.
All the Wildcat relays also medaled in the meet to show a strong showing.
