AUSTIN - The Tem-Cat Track & Field team closed out the final day of the Texas Relays on a high note as the 4x400 relay team ran a season best 3:54.93 and finished in 5th place in a star studded field of some of the best relay teams in the state.

The relay team consisted of Maliah Neal, Kylee Dupar, Jaylynn Pearson, Kaurie Holleman and Aniyah Brumet.

Dejah Thomas also competed in the triple jump where she had a leap of 36'10 1/2 to finish 15th overall.

Temple now sets their sights on the District 12-6A Championships which will be held at Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove beginning on Wednesday.
