Temple bounced back from its first district loss by run-ruling Killeen behind Kaitlyn Teeters’ five-inning no-hitter last Friday. The Tem-Cats kept the train moving Tuesday, though not in such dominating fashion.

This time it was Brooke Knox’s hitless work in relief of Teeters that gave Temple the upper hand after it jumped out to a quick three-run advantage then came back late on Bryan, which took a lead into the middle innings before Temple responded to post a 6-5 walkoff victory in a tight District 12-6A contest at windy Tem-Cat Field.
