HUTTO - The Wildcat varsity track & field team competed in the Hippo Relays at Hutto High School on Thursday.
The Wildcats took 4th Place in the team standing with a total of 74 points while Harker Heights took 1st Place with 206 points.
The Wildcats did well in the distance events with Titus Tamez taking gold in the 1600 meters. Following Tamez was La'Ron Alexander who took gold in the 1600 and earlier in the 3200 meters. Adan Hernandez also took silver in the 800 meters.
